The Club is delighted to confirm thatGiorgos Karagounis has signed a new one-year contract with Fulham thatwill keep him at Craven Cottage until 30th June 2014.
After signing for the Whites inSeptember 2012, Karagounis established himself as an important member ofMartin Jol’s squad, playing 28 times and scoring twice.
His work rate and passion on the pitchmade him a firm fans’ favourite, while he came second in both the Playerand Goal of the Season awards last term, as voted for by supporters.
Now aged 36, Karagounis remains anintegral part of the Greece national set-up, and the central midfielderrecently became their most capped player of all time.
