Manchester City: Stevan Jovetic fee agreed, say Fiorentina
Manchester City have agreed a fee to sign Fiorentina striker Stevan Jovetic, according to the Serie A club.
Jovetic, 23, has been a long-term target for the 2011-12 Premier League champions and is rated at about £28m.
The Montenegro forward, who scored 13 goals in 31 games for Fiorentina last season, has previously been linked with Arsenal and Manchester United.
Fiorentina tweeted: "An agreement has been reached with Manchester City for the permanent sale of the player."
New City manager Manuel Pellegrini has already strengthened his squad this summer with the signings of midfielder Fernandinho, 28, from Shakhtar Donetsk and winger Jesus Navas, 27, from Sevilla.
Striker Alvaro Negredo, 27, is expected to follow former Sevilla team-mate Navas to the Etihad Stadium in a £20m deal.
