Manchester United and Arsenal are running out of time to take Everton’s Marouane Fellaini for bargain fee

Manchester United and Arsenal have just seven days to activate a release clause in the contract of Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini or risk watching his valuation rocket.
The Belgium international has a £22million buyout clause but it expires on the last day of this month.
United manager David Moyes will know every word of Fellaini’s contract as he was his boss at Goodison Park before officially moving to Old Trafford at the start of this month.
He is keen to sign the 25-year-old, who can play just about any role required in midfield while adding plenty of goals, with Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs curtailing their playing time this season.
Arsenal have also been frequently linked with Fellaini and are under the same terms and conditions as the Premier League champions.
United and Arsenal have both yet to splash out on marquee signings this summer with the Red Devils chasing Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas and Tottenham star Gareth Bale.
The Gunners are interested in Brazil international midfielder Bernard and Liverpool livewire Luis Suarez.
