Coventry City have been deducted 10 points by the Football League after going into liquidation.
The Sky Blues will now start Saturday's League One match away to Crawley with a points' total of minus 10.
Thedecision by the Football League follows a meeting held between the cluband Coventry's major creditor - Arena Coventry Limited (ACL) - thecompany that owns the Ricoh Arena.
This deduction was expectedafter ACL refused to accept the Company Voluntary Agreement (CVA) thatwas put before them, forcing Coventry City Ltd, one of the club'sconstituent parts, into liquidation.
Coventry were also deducted10 points last season for going into administration and this latestruling is a further blow to a club that won the FA Cup at Wembley 26years ago.
