Wesley Sneijder is ready for one last pitch at playing in the Premier League.
The 29 year-old Holland international has been in magnificent form for Galatasary but has never hidden his ambitions of moving to England.
Manchester United took a close look at the Dutch star three years ago when they were looking for a
long-term replacement for Paul Scholes as their prime creative force.
United could not agree a fee with Inter Milan and Sneijder eventually moved to Turkey last January after his contract wrangle with the Italian club. With his contract running down Sneijder’s transfer was a bargain £6m.
