Oct 30 (Reuters) - Netherlands coach Louis van Gaal resisted the temptation to experiment and on Wednesday named a provisional 24-man squad for two forthcoming friendlies that keeps in place his selections for last month's World Cup assignments.

The Dutch, who in September secured a place at next year's finals in Brazil, won their last two World Cup qualifiers in October against Hungary and Turkey.
