The Club can confirm that Bryan Ruiz has joined Dutch outfit PSV Eindhoven on a loan deal until the end of the season.

Having made 14 appearances for the Whites in the current campaign, Ruiz will now link up with Phillip Cocu’s side as they aim to improve on their current standing of seventh in the Eredivisie.

Everyone at Fulham would like to wish the Costa Rica captain well during his temporary spell in the Netherlands.

Transfer news: Fulham forward Bryan Ruiz having PSV Eindhoven medical

Fulham forward Bryan Ruiz is having a medical ahead of a proposed move to PSV Eindhoven, Sky sources understand.

The Costa Rica international joined the club from Dutch side FC Twente for £10.6m on the final day of the summer transfer window in 2011.

Ruiz has since made 51 appearances for the club, scoring eight times in the process.

But the 28-year-old has scored just once in 14 matches this season and is on the brink of a return to the Eredivisie.

The Costa Rica forward is now just waiting for Fulham and PSV to hammer out the final details before the playmaker

can leave the struggling Premier League outfit.

Ruiz's agent Rene Vijt confirmed his client had passed a medical with the Dutch club.

Vijt said: "He did have a medical at the club on Monday and I can say that everything went well.

"Now it is up to the two clubs before anything else can happen."

Ruiz joined Fulham in 2011 for a fee of over £10m but has failed to live up to his billing and is set to leave.
