Cardiff City: Premier League to investigate Crystal Palace 'leak'

The Premier League has confirmed it will investigate an alleged leak of Cardiff's team details ahead of their match with Crystal Palace.
Chairman Mehmet Dalman informed the Premier League about the claims.
"The Premier League has received a formal complaint from Cardiff City and will now investigate the matter," confirmed a league spokesman.
The Bluebirds say Crystal Palace, who won the game 3-0, knew their line-up 24 hours before kick-off,
Cardiff City are taking disciplinary action against two employees.

The 5 April defeat by Palace left Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side 19th, a position they continue to hold despite a 1-0 victory at Southampton last weekend.
The disciplinary action does not involve players, but the club considers the leak to be a "sackable offence".
Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish declined to comment on the grounds that he did not want to give the accusations "oxygen".
Solskjaer also chose not to talk about the allegation specifically, but categorically denied suggestions that a player had been involved.
Club captain Steven Caulker said he was "frustrated" because the row could be a distraction from the fight to avoid relegation.
"To be honest, there's been things like that all season where certain things have been leaked," Caulker said.
However, the centre-back later clarified that he was referring to "leaks" about matters other than team selection.
"For me it's frustrating because we need to focus on what's going on on the pitch and not what's happening off the pitch," Caulker added.

【英超】卡城 水晶宮驚爆「間諜門」

據英國《太陽報》報道，卡迪夫城昨日向英超聯賽會作出投訴，指責水晶宮在兩隊上場聯賽交手前派出間諜，
在比賽前兩天套得領隊蘇斯克查的正選陣容，從而「對症下藥」並以3:0勝出該場賽事。
該支威爾斯球隊指水晶宮的體育總監穆迪（Iain Moody）派出間諜「套料」，甚至直言有卡城中人承認曾被直接聯絡，要求提供有關資料。
對於卡城的指控，水晶宮已斷然否認，但球隊班主派利殊承認，曾有一名經紀致電穆迪，向他提供11位球員的名字。
他說：「這實在是捏造的太離譜了，根本就是他們對輸球感到酸溜溜，己隊徹底打敗了他們。
穆迪告訴我他從來沒有直接和卡城中人有過對話，況且該名經紀人提供的球員名字當中，有兩人是錯的，所以說我們準確獲得卡城出場名單，根本是無稽之談。」
英超賽會承認他們正在調查事件，但目前拒絕作出評論。卡迪夫城目前以33戰得26分排尾二，與安全區域相差6分。

Cardiff City: Crystal Palace result should not stand, say Welsh club

Cardiff's 3-0 defeat by Crystal Palace in early April should not be allowed to stand, the Welsh club have said in a five-page letter obtained by the BBC.
The document, sent by club lawyers to the Premier League,
alleges Palace boss Tony Pulis knew sporting director Iain Moody was trying to obtain Cardiff's starting line-up before the game.
Cardiff claim they have proof Moody succeeded and say this breaches league rules
but the BBC has not been able to obtain a Palace response, though the club have previously denied the claims.
The Premier League strugglers go on to state that clubs should act in good faith to one another and calls into serious question the integrity of the match.
They say Crystal Palace cheated and want the Premier League to take serious action.
