Keane leaves United for BurnleyManchester United and Burnley have reached agreement for centre-back Mike Keane to complete a permanent move to Turf Moor for an undisclosed fee.
The England Under-21 international made his Barclays Premier League bow for the Reds during the 1-1 draw at Sunderland in August and also played in the Capital One Cup exit at MK Dons.
After joining the Clarets on loan on deadline day in September, the 21-year-old has looked at home in the top flight and cemented a place in Sean Dyche's defence. Dyche recently revealed he was in talks to agree a full-time switch as Keane's current deal expired this month, and a three-and-a-half year permanent contract has subsequently been finalised.
Keane, whose twin brother Will was on the bench for the home clash with Stoke City last month, was part of the FA Youth-Cup winning side in 2011 as a right-back but has made his name in the middle. He could come up against Louis van Gaal's men in next month's encounter at Old Trafford.
Everybody at United wishes Mike well in his future career.
