Swansea City agree fee for Southampton midfielder Jack Cork Swansea City have agreed a fee with Southampton for midfielder Jack Cork. Cork, 25, is out of contract at the end of the season so is available for a reduced fee in January and has held talks with the Swans. Swansea, who visit Southampton in the Premier League on Sunday, were first linked to Cork under previous manager Brendan Rodgers.
The former Chelsea trainee, who is the son of former Cardiff boss Alan Cork, has made 15 appearances this season.
Southampton manager Ronald Koeman said earlier this month that the club had offered Cork a new contract.
The four-year deal that Cork signed in July 2011 expires in the summer, and the midfielder has yet to make a decision about his future.
Swansea manager Garry Monk is eager to add to his squad before the January transfer window closes on Monday, 2 February.
