ANDREAS PEREIRA SIGNS NEW CONTRACT Andreas Pereira has signed a new contract at Manchester United which keeps him at the club until at least June 2018, with an option to extend for a further year. The young midfielder, 19, joined the Academy system in 2011 and has progressed to the first-team squad from the start of this season. He made his debut in August 2014 in the League Cup against MK Dons.
Louis van Gaal said: "I am delighted that Andreas has signed a new contract. Andreas has all the attributes to become an integral part of the first team; great natural talent coupled with a good appetite to learn.
"I am pleased with his progression so far this season and look forward to working with him to develop his talent even further.”

I made my Premier League debut against Tottenham Hotspur and to play at Old Trafford in front of so many fans was a dream come true.
