Roma after Adriano Barcelona full-back Adriano is top of Roma's wishlist. In fact, Roma's Director of Football, Walter Sabatini, who was in London recently, has travelled to Barcelona to negotiate the possible purchase of the Brazilian defender. Sky Italia has reported that Walter Sabatini has already spoken with the player about the Italian club's interest in acquiring his services. Adriano, who can operate down both flanks, is Roma's first choice ahead of other players like Borussia Dortmund's Schmelzer.
However, Luis Enrique has made it very clear that he doesn't intend to let any of his first-team players leave, so this could pose an obstacle to the transfer. With a contract that runs until 30th June 2017, Adriano has remained quiet on the situation so far, although his agent, Paulo Affonso Neves, has been somewhat more vocal, having said recently that the defender wants to ensure that he gets plenty of time on the pitch, whether that's with Barcelona or another team.
