Roma confirm Watford talks over Juan Iturbe



Roma and Watford are “negotiating” details of Juan Manuel Iturbe’s ?15m move, confirmed the Italian club's sporting director Walter Sabatini.
According to Il Messaggero, Roma director Sabatini was spotted in talks with Watford patron Gianpaolo Pozzo and even spoke to their reporter.
“We are negotiating with Watford,” he confirmed. Iturbe’s agent Pierpaolo Triulzi was also present at the get-together.
Pozzo also owns Serie A side Udinese and Liga club Granada, so players regularly move between the three outfits.
It had already been reported for several days that Watford were on the verge of securing Iturbe, but now they are getting down to details.
The Giallorossi would prefer to send Iturbe out on loan with option to buy, whereas Watford are eager to complete a permanent deal. Roma want ?18m to sell Iturbe and the Premier League club is hoping to pay no more than ?15m.
Victor Ibarbo also enters into the situation, as he could return to Roma just six months into a season-long loan at Watford.

Roma & Watford reach agreement on Iturbe deal: the figures and details

After a season and a half in Italy's capital, Juan Iturbe is set to leave Roma.
The Argentine striker born in 1993 is ready to join Watford in the Premier League, he'll get an opportunity to relaunch his career.
Today Roma reached an agreement with the English club, who was represented by the Pozzo, as well as the player's agent Triulzi.
Iturbe picked the destination over Bournemouth and Celta Vigo. The agreement will be formalized after Roma's match against Genoa on Sunday.
Iturbe will then fly to England to start the practice sessions with his new club.
The deal was reached on the basis of 1.5 million euro for the loan with an option to buy set at ?18 million, which was an increase from the ?15 million which had been previously offered before other clubs joined the race (Bournemouth was willing to go up to ?20 million).
Iturbe is ready to start next chapter of his career at Watford.

The transfer window has yet to open, but Iturbe's adventure at Watford has begun.
The Roma striker already arrived in London with his agent, thanks to a waiver he'll be able to practice with his new teammates immediately.

Bournemouth closing in on Iturbe, the latest

Juan Iturbe is edging closer to a move to Bournemouth after talks with Watford stalled last night.
The South Coast club are now in pole position to land the Argentine midfielder in a dramatic turn of events.
The deal is reported to be an initial loan with a view to a permanent deal for ?22 million which suits both player, agent and Roma.
It seemed as though the player was bound for Watford but then Bournemouth entered into what has now become a bidding war; something the Hornets are not interested in participating in.
Iturbe-Bournemouth is now a more likely outcome.

Iturbe signs with Bournemouth: the details of the negotiation

After being on the verge of joining Watford, Juan Manuel Iturbe has now signed with Bournemouth.
The Argentine striker just signed a contract with his new club, the documents to complete the transfer from Roma have also arrived.
The total financial package of the deal is ?24 million, which include the loan fee as well as the option to buy.
Iturbe will receive an annual salary of ?5 million before taxes including bonuses- both the transfer fee and wages trumped Watford's offer.
Iturbe is ready to relaunch his career in the Premier League.
