Marouane Fellaini and Robert Huth will serve three-match bans with immediate effect after accepting FA violent conduct charges. The players clashed during Leicester's 1-1 draw at Manchester United on Sunday, Fellaini swinging an arm at Huth after the City defender pulled his hair.
Both players accepted the charge, levelled after video footage was reviewed, though Huth argued that the standard penalty of a three-match suspension would be "clearly excessive".
And independent hearing did not agree and upheld the statutory ban for the German, who will miss the champions' games against Everton and Chelsea and next season's Premier League opener.
Fellaini is out of United's top-four chase but will be available for the FA Cup final against Crystal Palace on May 21.
