Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli has travelled to France to hold talks with Ligue 1 side Nice.

Balotelli has scored only four goals in 28 appearances for the Reds since joining for £16m in 2014 and spent last season on LOAN with former club AC Milan.

The Italy international striker is surplus to requirements at Anfield and does not figure in manager Jurgen Klopp's plans.

Balotelli, who has been offered to a HOST of clubs this summer, was not at the club's training ground on Thursday having been given permission to speak to the French side.

However, a deal is still some way off as no fee has been agreed and coach Lucien Favre has certain expectations of the 26-year-old.

"I don't know him personally, but if he runs and wants to help the youngsters, then why not?" Favre told a press conference.

"If he doesn't want to run, then there's no way he'll come here."

意大利射手巴洛迪利（Mario Balotelli）在利物浦沒有前途已是不爭的事實，而他的下一站則很大機會離開英超，意甲的薩斯索羅和克羅托內都被傳會接手。

周五，巴勒莫的副主席米茲奇（Guglielmo Micciche）突然自爆，已向利物浦提出收購：「這是一個令人著迷的主意，但很困難，我們正在努力嘗試；要是成功，這將是主席森柏利尼送給所有球迷的禮物。我們已出價，現在就看利物浦和球員的意向了。他的人工很高，而且有很多贊助商，所以轉會不是一件容易的事。」

It seems as though Mario Balotelli is likely to leave Liverpool, with French newspaper L'Equipe reporting the striker is to have a medical with Nice today.

The 26-year-old could be sold or loaned, according to the report.

However, a Nice official told L'Equipe no agreement had been reached and that the medical was "to save time" if an accord could be found.

"If the situation works out, maybe late in the day, it will be done. If we don't agree with Liverpool, he will leave again," the official added.

Italian striker ends Anfield career with move to French Riviera



Mario Balotelli’s Liverpool CAREER is over after he joined Nice on a free transfer.

The two clubs finally reached an agreement for the Italian striker on Wednesday evening. The 26-year-old had already passed his medical and agreed personal terms.

Nice had initially wanted to take Balotelli to the south of France on a season-long loan but Liverpool were pushing for a permanent deal and finally got their way.

Although the Reds won’t receive a transfer fee for the controversial frontman, they have at least avoided having to give him a pay-off.

That had been a genuine fear with Balotelli still having a year to run on the £90,000 per week contract he penned when he arrived from AC Milan two years ago.

Liverpool had been searching for someone to take Balotelli off their hands all summer with Jurgen Klopp informing him he had no future at Anfield

Balotelli scored just four goals in 28 appearances for the Reds in 2014/15 before being packed off to Milan on loan last season. He endured another underwhelming campaign – netting just three goals in 23 outings.

The striker also had offers in the past fortnight from FC Sion and Palermo but he opted for Nice instead.
