Sky sources understand Ivan Perisic is due to return to Milan today and - at the moment - Inter are expecting him to fly to China tomorrow with the rest of the first-team squad for their pre-season tour.

Perisic was allowed to leave Inter’s training camp in the Alps on Saturday to go to Croatia to see a “trusted dentist” because of a tooth abscess.

Sky in Italy believe he has told Inter he wants to move to Manchester United - Inter have been asking for £48m.

But United’s highest offer so far has been £40m.

Inter are in advanced talks to sign a replacement for Perisic – Keita Balde from Lazio.

PERISIC NAMED IN INTER SQUAD

Inter Milan have included winger Ivan Perisic in their squad for the club's pre-season trip to China and Singapore.

The Croatia international has been named in Luciano Spalletti's 28-man squad for the tour, which begins with a clash against Schalke in China on July 21.

The 28-year-old, who joined Inter from Wolfsburg on a five-year deal in 2015, has been linked with a £48m move to Manchester United.

Inter has not stopped thinking about Martial.
The contact has been initiated with the player's entourage and it has been positive while showing that he is available for a transfer.
They are missing Manchester United's approval to allow the player to go out on loan.
Inter and Manchester United are also communicating about a possible transfer for Perisic to the Premier League: the Red Devils have offered Inter 45 million euros plus 5 million euros in bonus.
Inter have rejected this proposal, but they could change their minds if Martial is included in the deal.
