Everton have confirmed that Sandro Ramirez is set to join Sevilla on loan for the rest of the season, subject to a medical.The Goodison Park side revealed the move on Tuesday night, with the 22-year-old returning to La Liga just six months after joining from Malaga.
The Spain U21 international came through Barcelona's La Masia academy before securing a move to Malaga.
Ramirez was subsequently signed by former Everton manager Ronald Koeman for £5.25m in July but struggled to make an impact on Merseyside, scoring just one goal - in the 5-1 Europa League defeat to Atalanta - in 15 appearances.
His last game came in the 0-0 draw with Everton on December 23 and he will now have the opportunity to impress back in Spain, having scored 16 times in 31 appearances for Malaga last season.
