Stoke City have confirmed that striker James Beattie has completed a move to Rangers for an undisclosed fee.
Beattie has signed a two-year contract, with a further one-year option, after moving for an undisclosed fee.
The Englishman was Walter Smith's first signing since Maurice Edu arrived at Ibrox two years ago.

Beattie's move to Rangers ends an 18-month spell at the Britannia Stadium in which he made 38 Barclays Premier League appearances, scoring 10 goals.
Manager Tony Pulis told the club's official website: "This is a fantastic opportunity for James to play at the highest level and I am sure he will be relishing the chance of Champions League football.
"He made an important contribution to us staying up in our first season in the Premier League and therefore we wish him all the best in the future with Rangers."
