Manchester United player Ashley Young rules out Chinese Super League transferAshley Young is generating plenty of transfer interest but Man Utd manager Jose Mourinho wants him to stay.
Manchester United winger Ashley Young has ruled out a January transfer window move to the Chinese Super League.Young, 31, has generated interest from Premier League clubs Everton, Watford, Swansea and West Brom but M.E.N. Sport understands he has no intention of uprooting his family to the Far East.
The United winger has made just five starts this season and was overlooked for the recent matchday squads against Hull and Liverpool, but Jose Mourinho has kept Young involved in the United set-up and would prefer to keep him until at least the end of the season.
Young has occasionally travelled with United's squads for away games and stayed at The Lowry ahead of home fixtures only to be the only outfield player omitted from the matchday 18.
His situation differed from that of Morgan Schneiderlin's and Memphis', who were not considered for selection while they focused on completing transfers in the winter window.

Memphis' imminent move to Lyon leaves Young as United's only specialist left winger, even though he has started there once this season, while Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford have usually lined up on the left flank. Jesse Lingard has also begun a handful of games there.
Young's United contract expires in 18 months' time but United have the option to extend it for a further year.
The former Aston Villa midfielder joined United for £16million five-and-a-half years ago and has won the Premier League title, the FA Cup and three Community Shields during his Old Trafford career.
